My first introduction to boudoir photography was while I was 8 months pregnant with our first child. I signed my husband and I to do a ‘belly-boudoir’ session and loved every second of it. Not only did I love my actuated curves, I loved knowing that I would never look the same way again, and I wanted to capture the moment. I now look at my album from time to time and (1) am amazed at how big I was, and ( 2) how beautiful I looked. It was a special moment for my husband and I, one that we will always remember.
I moved from Victoria, BC, where I trained as a high school art teacher, to Kingston in the summer of 2011. I love to create environments for women where they feel as beautiful as they are, and a woman’s uniqueness is celebrated. As a mom, I understand the business of balancing work and motherhood, and the need to escape at times to be pampered and feel beautiful.
Boudoir Photography is about celebrating the you that you are today.
There are many ways to do your boudoir session.
1. a personal, individual session in your own home, or at a hotel or location of your choice. (Hotel or any location and travel costs are your responsibility) Hair and make-up styling can be on site, and we create a beautiful, intimate boudoir session for you.
2. Join a Boudoir Marathon. These weekends happen through the year, and it’s a great way to get images done in a boutique hotel room for a great price! Check the Events page, or Like my Facebook page to get the updates.
3. At a Pin Up Party
You play hostess and gather your friends. A great way to earn yourself free photography – check out the Pin Up Party page.
4. At a location that has special meaning to you
This is simply limited to your imagination. All my photography is ‘on location’ which means I can do a photo session anywhere! Let’s talk about what you have in mind, and we can make it a reality.
